Valentines Day Poem by Krista Sipiorski

Valentines Day

The start of Valentines
It all started along time ago
With a pair of white gloves
There was no candy or flowers
The white gloves were a
Symbol of the love the man
Has for his girl
No matter what there was always something
That the man could give then
Latter in the years he gave her flowers
The flowers were roses and they were always the
Symbol of love and always will
Be a girl would put them in
Her window and when her
Lover walked on by at night he
Would know how much she
Cared for her and then the next
Day he would come on by
And ask her if she would want to
Have a date that night
She would say yes and blush
As he would walk away
She would spend the rest of the day
Trying to figure out what she would
Wear that night then he would nock on
Her front door and she would
Let him wait for a little bit
Then she would go and answer it
When he would see how
Beautiful she was in the moon
Light but it would always start with
A pair of white gloves that the
Guys would give there valentine
So over the years there has been a whole lot
More to give you can give chololet
Flowers and julery  to the girl
That you love so much
Each year you find something new to give
You can give them something
