Valentine's Day (2nd Ed) Poem by Ronald Chapman

Valentine's Day (2nd Ed)

This Valentine's Day.

I met an Angel this day.
Her heart was so heavy; as heavy as a rock,
That she could no longer fly.

I asked this beautiful creature.
What makes your heart so heavy, as heavy as a rock?
The glowing Angel says, 'This day of love is not special for me.'

She began to cry.
I have no one to love me,
It's such a lonely day,
It only brings tears to me.

I say.

Take my love to help you fly, and chase your tears away,
Grab my breath to warm your Soul,
Hold my hand to lift you up, to fly again,
Take my smile to make you laugh.

I met an Angel on Valentine's Day.

This Valentine's Day.
I met an Angel this day.
She no longer had a heavy heart,
So she could now fly away and forget me.
