In the silence
Of the void
We drift
Actively
Seeking
IT.
Within
The darkness
We seek,
Not stopping to look
Nor realize
The light we,
Each of us,
Truly are!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem came out somewhere in the mid '80s one evening after gazing at the night sky. I've always been awe-struck when contemplating the heavens.....even as a youngster.
