Unturned Time Poem by Prince Folorunsho Adegoke

Unturned Time

Contaminated are the fruits
In the journey she wants to go
Yet there is no turning back
The taste cannot be quenched
In the journey she is so into
Most of the fruits are dying
Unknown to her the story
Behind them hid dark worms
In front dangers to their lifeline
Should she return to time?
The days of untouched fruits
Uncertain she had not mingled
With the contaminated fruits
On the journey of irretrievable steps
