Until He Drew His Final Breath Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

Until He Drew His Final Breath

Rating: 4.8

Until he drew his final breath
He tried so hard to cheer,
All through his life until his death
His heart was kind and dear.

He lived by honest Christian ways
And did the best he could,
Until the ending of his days
He fought to do some good.

This town will be a sadder place
Now that his life has passed,
He always greeted folks with grace
A saint unto the last.

So place a flower on his grave
And bid a kind farewell,
His life for peace he bravely gave
Now here his soul must dwell.

A Smile lessens the burden of one, carries the heart to fly even just for a while.
