Unseen Force Poem by Shelby Miller

Unseen Force

As I sleep I’m being watch by an unseen force
I’m being protected by the darkness that surrounds me
I hear the screams of women and children as there torn apart.
I hear my name being called from the depths of hell
Screaming for me to come join them
Hell seems welcoming. At least then I’d feel something
Pain is welcomed when your numb to the core
Something to remind me, that I am truly alive.
