Unfulfilled Dreams Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Unfulfilled Dreams

Enviable heights
I dream,
Crave,
Aim to attain
Many sat royal kings

Affluence
Their breath
Their tongue
Their life

Antonyms
Of the other divide
I belong but loath

This lowest ebb
Whose reality rob my sleep
I detest but detained
Shine,
Ooze,
Reek
In squalor.
