Last night I heard you talking,
As the sun sunk in the sky...
You said that you missed me,
You are sad that we said goodbye.

You say that when our eyes meet,
It is like you are not there,
And when we look at each other,
It is like I just don't care.

You said you felt invisible,
As if you were no one at all...
But I am thinking of you,
As the stars do fall.

If I knew what you were thinking,
I'd spill all I feel inside,
But there is something missing,
As though something has died.

I cannot confront you....
I am afraid of what you will say.
If you are not ready,
Would you tell me to go away?

Last night I dreamt of you...
Your eyes so full of stars.
All alone I am,
Recalling that other life of ours.
