So dear Santa Claus
when will you come along
and bring for Ukraine the gifts
of peace, solace and solidarity
as missiles keep falling day and night
damaging their cities and homes
without any control nor respect for life.

So dear Santa Claus,
when will you come along
and bring for Ukraine the gifts
of peace, solace and solidarity
as Ukraine keeps facing the winter cold
and brutalities have been mounting like snow
which keep accumulating as months progress.

So dear Santa Claus,
when will you come along
and bring for Ukraine the gifts
of peace, solace and solidarity
as days of war have been so many
that no adult nor child seems to forget
how troublesome their time has been
since the war originated
as those families and children miss that life
where they lived unitedly in their homes
without any fear or tears in their eyes
without any hunger or thirst on their lips.

So dear Santa Claus
when will you come along
and bring for Ukraine the gifts
of peace, solace and solidarity
as Ukraine has no stable supply
of fuel and power in their homes
and it makes their existence so difficult
in this time of freezing winter and snow.

So dear Santa Claus
when will you come along
and bring for Ukraine the gifts
of peace, solace and solidarity
as so many cities of Ukraine
are turning into ghost towns
that my heart silently weeps within
for the people of Ukraine who are so innocent
yet they have to face that war and its wrath
which makes their own fate so ruthless.

So dear Santa Claus
when will you come along
and bring for Ukraine the gifts
of peace, solace and solidarity
as war has perpetrated a stiffness
in every heart that has faced its fury
as peace kept diminishing languidly
all the enthusiasm over the months
thus shattering their life's worthiness.

So dear Santa Claus
when will you come along
and bring for Ukraine the gifts
of peace, solace and solidarity
as everywhere is Christmas preparation
with stars and lights adorning and glittering
in towns and cities, streets and promenades
in other countries and even in their villages
while Ukraine is burning and exploding
since missiles keep falling so consistently
and destroying every ounce
of their normal serenity.

So dear Santa Claus
when will you come along
and bring for Ukraine the gifts
of peace, solace and solidarity
as no moment is more significant
than Christmas time
as joy serenades in every corner of the world
to usher that silent night when Jesus was born
to preach and teach every generation
not to hate one another
thro vengeance and vendetta
but to love one another
as humanity has greater value than hostility.
