**two Soldiers Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

**two Soldiers

Rating: 2.7

From under the cold nozzle
The gun metal was like the soldier
Carrying it in the heat of the mid day
Gazing the gypsy women they had been
Eating lizards for months
Who would capture the wilderness
In the desert of cactus and mosquitoes
The other one had moustache like an ant
I had a narrow escape for overspeeding
On road meant for wild boars
A Tommy gun was pointed at me
With a threat that had it not been
For the mercy of the lord
I would have paid with my blood
By just asking a question
To know what was the order for me
