Two Birds Poem by Anindita Bose

Two Birds

Rating: 5.0

two birds left me clues
about life and laughter

a tiny wriggling worm
between their beaks while
their eyes staring at each
other

slowly they fly flapping their
wings to reach some height,
a game of passion perhaps

the worm vanishes amidst
flying loose feathers while
the reach the golden blue sky

they call in zest as I see
their shadows mix with the
rays of sun

an empty nest awaits the
return of beating hearts in
songs of raindrops

Beautiful poem. "They call in zest…..their shadows mix with the rays of sun". Loved the images you have used to accentuate the poetry
