Twilight On 25 February 2014 Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Twilight falls to end the day,
The sky it is both blue and grey,
Cars with headlights passing by,
As folk from work do get away.

My Mind does search for words to write,
Lights a-flashing in the night time sky,
As buses stop outside my window,
Letting their fares alight.

My double-glazed windows have a bluish tint,
Outside I only see lights,
But reflections of the Ward are seen,
Against the evening sky.

The Muse has gone ~ I know not why?
My Faith in YOU sublime continue will,
Perhaps more words YOU will send to me.
To complete this Poem with the aid of YOUR Skill.

I thank YOU LORD for YOUR Aid tonight,
As the last verse of this poem is continued by I,
Perhaps more words later will come,
As YOU send verses to my Mind’s eye.
