Twilight Poem by James Atkins

Twilight

Rating: 5.0

One day they'll be lost to me
the summers below the dying hills
gently fading into a forgotten youth
recalled in black-and-white photos
and the sound of the river at night.

Nice poem James. Grasping memories before they become memories. Wonderful insight.10.
