Twilight Poem by Setaluri Padmavathi

Twilight

Greenery beautifies the small island
Evening breeze moves the weed

Enthusiastic birds start flying away
Reminding casually the end of the day

Boats big and small move noisily apart
Working men end up their schedule

Closing their tedious day’s agenda
Many people wander at the beach

The beautiful sky changes its colours
Allowing the sun to move under it

Sunshine gradually decreases its heat
Spreading colourful rays on the horizon

The evening rays make the sea shine
Reflecting the colours of the sunset

Humans entire their day’s routine plan
The dazzling sun set under the veil of clouds.
