Re-reading things of the past,
and I think How can this be true?
I see the things that were once said,
But how can this be true?
yes its been a while since then...
But you act as if its still the same.
But how can this be true?
I don't see you anywhere...
And your light isnt coming any time soon.
Yea I talk to you every day...
Though you are imaginary, and you cant hear me.
You can't hear me; you cant feel me,
You have no idea what i am going through.
How can the past stay true?

Certain songs i listen to everyday,
I just realized relate to me so much.
Although i really don't want them too...
Because it hurts to much to admit it.
Lonliness; Betrayel; Confusion.
How can the past stay true?

You say that it is true,
And that we are much better than that now.
But after I think it through...
How can this be true?
I do not understand this at all...
Because you are sending mixed signals.
I dont know how you can say you care,
I dont know how this can be true.
Little reminders of the past are everywhere,
I can't escape them nor get used to them.
So if I cant stand those reminders,
How can this be true?

People are taking your place.
Everything we once knew is fading away.
If this is happening,
How can our love be ture?
