Truth Poem by Chris Leermakers

Truth

Change is consistent
change is a fact
a bit unpredictable
life likes it like that
try to accept it, try to let go
slowly or quickly,
I try not to show
becoming that different
isn't always that bad
so why try to rush it
you'll only get sad

A natural progression,
starting in the past
a perceptual session
sometimes coming In fast
try to avoid
things that are the same
you know the rules of life's crazy games
learn to compromise
you don't have a choice
and yearn to hypnotize
to one day rejoice
love me and leave me
I love It that way
make me see the light,
at the end of the day
no two days are the same

There's nothing identical
no matter how good
whatever the spectacle
either accept or regret
the times that lay ahead
try not to fret
just sleep
where you lay your head
why worry over nothing
it's a natural part of life
only when It's something negative
the natural can be a strife
some things are inevitable
they are bound to happen
so don't get uncontrollable
just learn to slow down

it's a good thing
boring otherwise
the truth, like spring
there is no disguise
the monad lasts forever
and better yet
when is whenever
incase you forget......
