Trust Poem by Shaun Cronick

Trust

Rating: 5.0

It's hard to trust new members,
With so many false accounts.
But there are tell tale signs,
Revelations in small amounts.

Those chosen words they use,
Their grammar and spacing too.
Darkly disguised but not perfect,
Child's play to see through.

Children playing is what I see,
Thinking they're being clever.
Using cheap deception as cover,
To melancholy carry on forever.

For trust is hard to come by,
So that cliched old adage goes.
Just read between their lines,
To see falsehoods in their prose.

Very perceptive poem and you are spot on. The games these people play are incredibly childish and yes they are essentially silly liars. What is the point? In stark contrast to all of this deception, It' a trustworthy ten from me!
