True Love Poem by Mishack Mchunu

True Love

But our love is that of
Flying colours, like the rainbow
It stands by the skies as proof
That it has conquered the winds that blow!

Our love may shake but will
Never break in times of earthquakes in the grounds of love we both fell in
Even if volcanoes bring us hell
The devil himself will suffer to tell that our love is on fire and it won't burn.

And if you were death
How brave would I be to give you my heart?
For eternal rest in peace on my last breath
For I known from there we would never be apart

Oh beautiful Thato! If you were life
Surely I would be born again, divine and pure, to make you my wife!
