True Fulfilment Poem by Praveen Kumar In Shobha Priya

True Fulfilment

You are the jewel of the soul of my soul,
You are the throb of the heart of my heart,
You are the shine of the eye of my eyes,
You are the depth of the hunger I have.

You are my light, you are fulfillment,
You are the goal of my endless passage,
You are its cause, you are its breadth,
You are the spark that fastens my breath.

You are nowhere; you are everywhere
In blooming blossoms, in nature's colours,
In depth of sky and the width of oceans,
In the joy of child in mother's arms.

Cool of fresh air and the light of daybreak,
Jasmine's fragrance from bunch of wreaths,
Earth's sweet smell while first rain falls
Flash on my soul while I remember you.

You enliven my body, thrills my mind,
I feel darkness sweep out of my life;
Joy sprinkles, springs unseen liveliness,
Find elevated to brightly coloured world.

It is not peace, certainly exceeds that,
A divine light soaks my soul and heart;
I find sweet desires, and a cause to live,
Life blooms in desires; desire, soul of life.

Though nowhere you are, I find you nearby
Inviting me to take to my yearning arms;
Red-hot in desires, how can I not ignite?
What follow is simple creation's wonders.

Rolled in pleasures in the zenith of bliss,
We found worthwhile in each others' arms
In astounding rhythms, in perfect rhymes,
We dissolved in the other in fulfillment.
