Treasure Of My Thoughts Poem by Ayesha Tulkubra

Treasure Of My Thoughts

I'm blessed with a treasure of my thoughts

In the dark when it crawls

Through shadows, briskly it walks

Climbing the ladder, passing through tunnels

No one stops it, no one blocks

Rushing through cold water

Singing with glossy mermaids

It is amazed, sometimes shocked

Crosses the fence of paradise

Feels the breeze, sniffs the fragrance

Experiences peace, fights fury

Grass with dewdrops and bare footed on rocks

Has seen hyenas and parrot's flocks

Happens to run faster than clocks

Loosing track of time, discovers new horizons

People call it lame, they mock

My reaction opposite. I like the way

It unlocks all the locks.
