Traveller Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Traveller

Gone forever,
never to return.
Moved place to place
carrying varied cultures
-along with a cage.
Carrying the question
strapped 'Who am I? '
Gone, humming tunes
of the lost words.
Trail of footprints left
behind his crazy tale.
Gone all promises
he made with himself
while daydreaming.
Reluctantly he picked
his bundle, unsure
of it's need yet
nothing was left,
that mattered.
All acts he
carried with loyalty
but finally laughed
bitterly in the mirror.
Gone forever,
not to return
a fascinating
journey now.
He found many
untouched chords and
tunes of the lost words
