Trap Spun And Sprung Poem by Ima Ryma

Trap Spun And Sprung

A wolf did spy some lambs and thought
This would be a good time for lunch.
And sheep were quite sheepish a lot,
And lambs were so tasty to munch.
So on the lambs, the wolf snuck up.
But out of nowhere suddenly
A wool rope lassoed the wolf, yup,
And quite helpless the wolf did be.
The lambs of course did run away,
As the wolf tried to figure out
How predator had turned to prey,
Took quite a spin of yarn, no doubt.

That wolf did learn a lesson true,
Better not mess with mama ewe.
