Too Much To Content

Rating: 5.0

what if we knew why we dream, why we live and why we breath
why we cheat and why we spill
what if we knew all the colors and all the words
and emotions
how about the kiss of glory and the pain of shame
what if we knew that knowing is the not the answer to death
what if we know the fruitless vanity that rules us and destroys too
what if everything was not as it is and we knew that as well
what if running around and fooling won't pay off the debt of sanity
what is in it for me that i scribble but never do the paper confront me
or asks me my rationale, or question aloud
what is what and how is that whichever side i
see, i see no one but me
and my questions of relentless metre
and the cantor in decading voice
and all the deafening sound of asking more and more and more
