Tomorrow Still Coming Poem by Dorsey Baker

Tomorrow Still Coming

She left him
salty tears burning his eyes
She left him
like an unfinished
poem on a wrinkled piece of paper
She left him
feeling
like a bucket
of ice water
poured over his head
like wintertime
and no spring in sight
She left him
tomorrow still coming
