To Reveal
To talk about the thoughts I hold near
Will take more strength than I possess
The reality of the situation is
I’m afraid to speak the words out loud
To speak them for real would bring a change
And I am not ready for that change
The thoughts inside my head are dark
They reflect my soul, my body, my heart
And if my thoughts were ever to be revealed
I’d be unprotected and easy to kill
