To My Love Poem by Julie Neises

To My Love

Rating: 5.0

How far will I go
to win back your love.
From sea to sky,
or stars to cove.

When will enough
be enough.
When I'm with you
you only act tough.

I know there's a soft
sweet interior.
Please stop feeling
mediocre and inferior.

I've loved you
since the year we met.
You've had my heart
caught up in your net.

You don't have to act
when it's just me and you.
I know who you are
and all the things you've been through.

Who you are
is not who you were.
Please let go
of the past and of her.

sometimes our partners tend to change if we spend our time with them, i like this poem it shows that we people dont have to change as we grow old with our loved ones 'who you were is not who you are.

This is a great poem! It is about the intricate webs of life and raises questions about life - profound questions that compel searches for answers - some answers, at least. When is enough enough? What is 'enough'? And how do we know when enough is enough? How far will i go to win back your love? As far as the endless road leads to your heart, and then some, so you will never again leave me, or live without me, now that you have all of my life. Giving is everything and enough is not a word for those in love. So....

As beautiful a plea for a past love as you'll find. Excellently done.

True love does not only lingers but stays forgiving...! A 10.
