to say i miss you is like saying the body needs food
the complexity of the body functioned with a million ants carrying flowers
to the grave of the memories of past emotions.
to hear that you miss me is like finding money on the floor
excited about what could have been gained
but afraid that so easily it could be taken away

just one hug would transport us to the safety zone
where the public stares and cares could not touch us
and the only thought would be
do they feel the flame that burns my soul
to run away and hop skip and jump back to the inner child whos biggest worry in life is having enough milk to go with my cereal

tremble in life with the thought i cant explain
to keep my body stable with a clenched fist
beacuse when i see you my heart dances precariously
so take me to heaven with your kiss
