Some people are too old to marry
They've squandered all of their commitment
Perhaps what little they had
Some people are too romantic to marry
Thinking their love might grow weary
Or dormant as the years go by if placed
on a single heart
Some people are too insatiable to marry
As they bore and hate quickly
After the spoils have been won
Some people are afraid to marry
That their menagerie might be dashed beyond repair
Or that the damage they see themselves might wreak as an odour
In the hearts of the naive or unafraid
