To Logan Poem by Edward Veilleux

To Logan

Nephew, may I ask what brightens your days?
Nephew, will you be forever set in your childish ways?
Tell me, What goes on within your young mind?
what will happen when happiness becomes harder to find?

What miseries and defeats will strike you down with sorrow?
What if you can not fathom a good day within tomorrow..?
And yet, what joys await you when you've grown?
What pleasure in life when you'll finally call somewhere Home.

Logan do not waste your youth, Do not always do right.
Do not deny yourself dreams, live yourself a life.
