To Dee Poem by S Ovwata Onojieruo

To Dee

Who would think that beauty's capturing
captivating and leaves no strength to fight,
who would feel being pret' is enchanting
so demanding, you can't resist it's might.
Nay in seven worlds one could turn off
and still stay out of sight,
but, with you; this force, this pressure's off,
one loves and still want more.

There are day's you'd feel, this burdens real,
so real you can't let go
there are night's you'd think, this pressure's stick
so strong yet you want to hold.
To see, to laugh, to smile again,
and hear her voice so bad,
to look, to say 'you've got me slain',
your aura captures hard.

Those looks of yours; when one's unsure,
if time to make a move,
those calling eyes; one can't resist,
it captures in a glance.
Your inward's hot; your hardwork's sure
character is your proof,
your beaut' is one; your candor sit,
so strong one's in a trance.

If to live a day that's past so fast,
it'd be a day with you,
calling your name, holding your hands,
and watching you disclose;
Your smile's that stir a childhood's past,
a wonder with every clue,
and you speak, so cool, just like a band,
whose song's too sweet to close.
