In this time of uncertainty
We have poured our problems on you
We even demanded that you be strong for us
We offloaded all our fears on you
And expected you to be superheroes
To fend for your families
To be counsellors and teachers
To be warm and full of laughter
We expected you to be strong
Even when the winds of uncertainty are strong
We cowered under your wings for protection
And expected you to feed us
You are beyond reproach
You are our true heroes
In all aspects of life
You are the lifelines
Always ready to care
And to Love
May your days be full of joy and laughter
May your hearts find rest in the ocean of Love
