'Tis A Topsy-Turvy World- So What? Poem by Dr John Celes

'Tis A Topsy-Turvy World- So What?

When friends can be worse than your foes,
And foes can be quite kind at times,
You wonder how crazy world goes,
But, man must sane be in all climes!

Some sheep just follow shepherd close;
They will not go astray at all;
They know the thorns from each grass-rose;
They just obey the shepherd's call.

The world has changed in every sphere;
A lot of evil minds too work;
The righteous may be forced to err;
Good souls can turn at times berserk!

Yet, good will triumph finally;
Delayed but comes the success sought;
Just do your job to foe/ally;
Our God will win wars that are fought.

So, be the person fair and just;
To walk in heaven's road, we must;
Both good and bad souls turn to dust;
Yet, love is love and lust, mere lust.
