Time Slips Slides Away Like Sands Falling In An Hour Glass Poem by Terence George Craddock

Time Slips Slides Away Like Sands Falling In An Hour Glass

Rating: 5.0

time drips drops away like water flowing in a water clock
nuclear microseconds split time into minute fractional figures
does wisdom of our ages anchor us set in concrete thoughts?
does wisdom of our ages anchor us drifting in ambiguous waters?
past flat earth concrete rock solid theories have sprung leaks
as a round world dissolves into cosmic string theory concepts
artistic variables mesmerizing multiverse like spinning marbles
time sand seconds time flows morphs into pool multiverse

cosmic string theory tiny vibrating strings smaller than smallest
subatomic particles strings twist fold vibrate create matter
energy birth phenomena all kinds like electromagnetism gravity
string theory is an ultimate framework merging general relativity
quantum physics unification of quantum physics and relativity
unified theory quantum mechanics regulates all phenomena at
subatomic level general relativity controls gigantic interstellar
activities in macro universe orbit galaxies stars planets moons

physicists crave string theory to be the theory of everything
superstring theory subatomic particles as teensy tiny loops
vibrating string allows general relativity quantum mechanics
to shake hands to get along to combine to explain everything

Lord of Rings moment quest for one theory to rule them all

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Denis Mair 19 April 2023

The impulse toward totality is leading them on a quest. They are groping toward a source-realm, and they don't want to dress it in theistic clothes. Wish them luck.

I already knew you would understand this Denis, physicists are on a quest, as you and I Denis are on a differing quest, physicists are playing catch up, we will meet in the middle.

Thank you LeeAnn. I left this poem in my mind since November 2014 when I wrote 'Time Sand Second Worlds Spin Multiverse Variables' but this first stanza is the original. The completion 'How Long Is A Lifetime: Species Specific Answers Maximus' and images I will post soon. Some things need time.
