two of the three majestic
big beautiful rata trees
I love were blown over
by gust great wind yesterday
they left no big holes in ground
bigger holes in my empty heart
gust wind tree trunks did twig snap
ground flexed in strong gust blasts
ground flexed movement breathed
trunks violence broken splintered
matchstick snapped trunks ripped
meat life trunk wind severed twisted
middle tree was gust suddenly gone
far right tree rip burst a half hour later
my favourite time breathed still stands
roots raw earth mixed up reach broken
limbs rip torn reach up in split supplication
tree trunk branches lie on side grounded
just past grey memorial gates
of war remembrance they grew
over sage sentinel seventy years
trees stood watch finger tiny leaves at night
my favourite spotlight lit under a street light
glitter wind whisper as blown sparkle leaves
sometimes time distorts
I had already dream
seen these trees laid low
elemental life forces
lightning strike fork
in shaman brain cells
sometimes rare future is
snapshot chance cast back
strong impressions emotions
glimpsed portal viewed
