Time Poem by William Williams

When you're feeling sad,
And finding yourself down,
When you realize,
You're eyes are glued to the ground,

And your memories take you back,
To a time far away,
Remembering your loved ones,
Before they felt such pains,

No matter how much you tell yourself,
Everything will be fine,
You know they have no defense,
Against the weapon of Time,

You know everything is changing,
And will soon come to an end,
And one by one you begin,
To lose your greatest friends,

So keep your loved ones close,
Cherish them in your heart.
Because it will come too soon,
When you have to watch them depart.
