Time Poem by angel lockheart

I stand frozen to the ground,
My tears trying to say the story,
The rain pelting down,
My heart breaking,
Thunder rocking through me,
My knees almost giving way,
Lightning cutting through time,
My mind racing to form sentences,
Shudders dashing up my spine,
My mouth trembling to shape words,
As you walk away,
Your eyes frigid as ice,
Long strides taking you farther,
The rain erasing every trace of you,
As your body starts to blur,
Becoming a point in the distance,
Walking out of my life,
Walking out,
Of time.
