Tides Of Woe Poem by Teresa Dearing

Tides Of Woe

Rating: 5.0

Tides roll in and tides roll out,
Changing life, forever no dought.
Seasons come and seasons go,
Like the tides that ebb and flow.

People live and people die,
At some point we wonder why.
We keep changing, changing fast,
Slow the tides, push back the past.

As we change nature's flow,
We will reap, what we sow.
This global warming plagues our life,
Scars the world with increasing strife.

Nature loses to polluted air,
Changed genetics, do we really care.
No clean water, seasons have changed,
Our world is crazy~ quite deranged.

No one wants to be left out;
We want it now, paid with clout.
Use it once, then just toss it out,
Not my problem, have no dought.

Mother nature has had enough,
Cleaning up will be really tuff,
Every one must help to clean,
Get big business to go green.

Needs of man are so many,
Raping earth's land of plenty,
Chemical waste, the dollar rules,
Choking to death, ignorant fools.

Tides will come and tides will go,
But man creates his tides of woe.
