Thunder And Enlightening Poem by C M Rice

Thunder And Enlightening

Wondrous moments cease all absurd feelings
Hums the sound continual contented stuck
Uninvited here where I am rapt in ceilings
Pleasure to scratch gleeful as a match struck

Striking wholly always enlightening warm
And I for one in dream have sought and; think
Drizzling darkening cloud – a perfect storm
That all along this wandering path lay nothing but a drink

To hunch to kneel – fingers crossed with hands as joined
Praising all my fellow common chattering flaws
Crashing knowing with a sudden flash to mind
That all is lost no matter what the cause
