Throw A Rock And Hide Your Hand Poem by Dorsey Baker

Throw A Rock And Hide Your Hand

Shed your skin
and come out
like a snake
deadly is your bite!
in the grass
so thick
your colors blend
and no one
can see
the hiding place
you are in
can quickly!
strike
if you decide
to attack
you sound
just like a fraud
listen
to the demons applaud
you don't signal
or your intentions show
and you don't move too fast
you just take it slow
