Through The Storm Poem by Joshua Swanson

Through The Storm

Lightning strokes the hard earths heart,
A velvet touch with a deadly brush,
As thunder moans into the hush,
Left by my broken cries.

I scream my fears into the tears,
Of heaven falling through the years,
Of pain and loss and shattered hope,
That never fades or dies.

My face now turned into the streaming,
Rain that howls a banshee seeming,
To be calling fear and fury,
From the worlds heartless skies.

Running from the demons chasing,
Me thoughout this pointless racing,
Of my life's eternal quest to,
Find something beyond the lies.
