Three Heroes Poem by yakubu abukari n

Three Heroes

Happier not have I ever been
Since these three musketeers I met
They are the nicest persons I have ever seen
So listen, if you have not encountered them yet

Hard hearts you may never render tender
And your requests they shall not fulfil
But with PLEASE, the master key without gender
Even mummified hard hearted doors unlock at will

At SORRY’s mention, wild hearts are tamed
And feuding factions’ fury fritter away with alacrity
But haughty hearts bereft of this word so pretty
Little wonder our world wars-multitudes murdered or maimed

It may be your right to claim
It may well just be a favour
But saying THANK YOU all the same
Gives them a moment to savour
