Thousand Autumns Poem by Shama Taimour Bukhari

Thousand Autumns

Many seasons, many weathers I have toiled..
Some were vague others coney..
The nights were long or the days lonely..
Mornings with a rainbow but nights all dark.
Looking for some peace, some love some laughter..
I spent the years chasing the spring..
But....thousand autumns live in my heart.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The autumns are very dear to me..they look like me, giving every leaf and flower to the season.. A lonely person also is like an non ending autumn...
