Thoughts Without Meaning Poem by Phil Soar

Thoughts Without Meaning

Thoughts without meaning confuse my mind
Dealt out so randomly, no place to unwind
Mixed with reality, dished up with fate
Ignoring those thoughts, leave me in a state

Cutting remarks make for un-fettered times
Whisper them quietly, don’t fluff those lines
Walk away quietly, don’t stand around
Better forgotten, and left on the ground

Thoughts without meaning, tales without end
Trusting reality, needing a friend
Random predicaments, dealt with by grief
Thoughts without meaning, better off brief
