This Poet's Probe Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

This Poet's Probe

Bellows wind, fires cinder's singe,
this heats a mind's flummox;
blusterously similar, word to thought,
how basal inner talks;
inculcated, is mental continuity,
avoiding humanistic ataxia;
rationality breeds ataraxis,
to comprehend is all it takes.

Intelligential marrow thins,
in the inelegance of naïveté;
consequence, mind's condense,
thickness dulls the heedful innovate;
normalcy's clone, quotidian idealism,
indolent critics invite;
conciergerre, society's dream,
chummy miscreation's initiate.

Countenance plebian foudroyant,
clear mind yawning numeral;
relucent point, mind being more
than matter that proves friable;
malnourished thus, one's wonderment,
reflexion verified nonliteral;
envisage, processed thoughts
cherished fruit, not canned illiberal.

Aeonian pause meets paragraphs,
inscribed works of words disport;
intellection, cautious pedantic,
cause the academic world's enhort;
idiosyncratic striations ruled,
heuristic unconscious process besort;
subsistence, thought, tunes doubt
into comradery and rapport.

Inordinacy, of wile not word,
creates the infirm individual;
society's theorem, rue its weight,
sure collapse comes when idle;
heinous this scene,
how the mind bleeds, as its edge is dulled;
transgression, mindlessness yet reigns,
most, are proven dullard.
