This Perfect You Poem by Grant House

This Perfect You

Rating: 5.0

I am calling you home
You
There, in the middle
Of your great journey

You may think you are nearly done
Or just getting started
But when you wake up
From your lonely dream
You will find out the truth

The unfathomably deep
Infinitely vast
infinitesimally small truth
That you are always
Precisely
In the middle
Halfway from where you have come
Halfway to where you are going

I invite you to consider
That this now
Could be who you really are
Your much celebrated past
Your greatly anticipated future
Illusions

I will be waiting for you
When you arrive at now
But right now
I am calling
Please listen

I am calling
In your own voice
Like the whisper
That wakes you
In the middle of the night
Alone on the edge of the earth

And the silence
That overcomes you
When your mind stops
Just long enough to breathe a breath
Without trying

Like that

I am calling you home
Home to the place in your heart
Between each heartbeat

In your mind
In the space between each thought

At the crossroad
Where life chooses
The direction of your spirit's quest

To the moment
Your eyes meet your lover's
That very instant
When you see yourself reflected there
And calmly realize you are looking back
Seeing the reflection in your own eyes
And you know
In the center of this overwhelming love
You are one

I am calling you
To the place out of time,
As you wipe the food
Off the dishes
And feel the water flowing
Across your fingers
And you smile
Because you hear
Your mother's voice
As if she were there
Close behind you
Singing soft and low
The lullaby you cherished as a child
Her spirit alive and well

Right there
In the middle
Where you are
I am calling

I love you
Just as you are
No more
No less
Right here
Right now

I am calling out to you
This perfect you

Please stop and listen

I am calling
You
Home
To
Now

Mind blowing persuasive tender call launched for the loved one for return. A great emotional flow. Thanks for sharing.
