This Means The End
this means to an end
is the end of meaning
for me i am
unwell, undone,
uninformed
and if a leaf drops
from the skies and
spins a story
in golden
red and brownish tones-
then i know you
are thinking of me
well thanks for hope but
this romanced promise of life
is only as alive
as the shaking leaf in my
outstretched, trembling palm
