This Is What Happens When You Attempt To Write

______A Quaint Quatrain ______

Reaching in your pocket you will feel
the cotton cloth used to sew, and seal-
your pockets to secure you never will
lose all contents running up the hill!

_____The Moot Explanation _____

Now, I'm not so very sure as to why
I decided to write these foolish lines.

It's 3am in the City that never sleeps
'n, if I can't pen better lines than these,
then perhaps it's time this member
post his last work while he remembers'
to say goodnight to all fellow peeps
before this member takes a keyboard sleep,
and, logoff, go upstairs, then lay me down,
listen to the crickets make their cricket sounds;
And tonight foregoing my late night smack of joe,
I snag a pillow, close my eyes, and dream I'm E.A.Poe!
