Life not lost without living
Love not known without feeling
Beginnings not taken without risk
Gazing in the mirror, I see the turning toward fall,
Grace has been given to me after the waste I spent in my youth
Shades of gray, lines of joy and great sorrow I see
The blurring of the past as I strain to see my future
I greet the days ahead with you with eager joy
I need only my god and your warmth to keep me
The hunger that lives within me is awake
Not the hunger that I have known before that seeks to devourer
This hunger has been unknown until now
With you, came it’s birth, with us comes its life
Dawn is behind us now as we face the sunset
Such a glow it will cast upon us in each other’s arms
Our fate not sealed without warning
So I shall seal it every day with a kiss
