This is for every birthday I never got you a card
You probably don’t care I was a part of your heart
It is rare how we start, knowing where it ends
I just can’t give up this silly old thing
This is for that ring I want to give you one day
I know Its dumb to say but I’m here to stay
I’m numb to the pain when you’re away
The rain washed out your love stain
This is for the date I’ve alawys wanted to take you on
Chili’s would be perfect, huh?
You wouldn’t have to pay nothing, none!
Damn I miss you like you’re gone
This is for every valentine’s I never asked you to “BEE” mine
Sent you roses, bought you chocolate, or said “Daamn, girl you FINE! ”
I’m trying to make up for all the time that I’ve lost
I quietly hope it’s worth the cost
This is for every time I never took control
I’m just a breathless soul caught in your chokehold
You have to know I am bold, I just don’t want to let go
This high wall I have built so tall
This is for everytime we chill and I act like a bitch
I hope to show you my mind is different than what you think
I’m just a bit lost, slowly finding my way
Youre the light at the end of the tunnel, please don’t fade away
This is for everyitme we’re not together and I don’t know how to act
I want things to be better but that’s just not fact
It kills my ♥ like a heart attack knowing you is what I lack
