This Gratitude That Lingers Even For Just A While.
the good news is
this: the prisoners who
were set free
finally are reading
poetry.
though it was not
really intended to be
but perhaps, yes perhaps,
it is this freedom that
goes with it,
this hope that light
upon itself,
this gratitude that
lingers
even for just a while.
oh little gods,
all demi-gods
bless them all
who shall for the
coming years
commit the same.
